The Berlin was one of the first charter frigates put at the disposition of Frederic William by the Brandenburg Navy. Built in Zeeland in 1674, the vessel formed part of the Brandenburg fleet until 1688. This brand new model is detailed to an unprecedented degree. The ornamentation of the poop-deck is of gilded metal and is sports painstaking detail. The frame and planking of the hull are of precious wood. This kit contains all lazer-cut woods and a wide range of accessories. The manuals include 4 large plans, a full instructional book, and a large number of diagrams/photos of the model.
