Artists can use the same painting and finishing techniques of traditional oils without the toxicity of unnecessary solvents. Duo has the pleasant studio odor of linseed oil but cleans up with water! Duo may be blended up to 30% with traditional oil colors or mediums without affecting its water solubility. duo can be blended with watercolors, gouache or acrylics and will dry faster, however finished paintings should not be varnished for 6 to 8 months just like traditional oil colors. The possibilities for special techniques and effects using Duo are limited only by the imagination.
